Our Mission
Reduce Homelessness in Milpitas
Founded in 2020, Hope for the Unhoused, a Milpitas-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization, has been working hard with the help of our volunteers and partners to help the unhoused and families in need in Milpitas. Our work is dedicated to:

Educating the community on the challenge of homelessness

Implementing a three-prong strategy of prevention, sustaining, and pathways to reduce homelessness

Join us for our Third Annual Homeless Conference August 23, 2025
We are set to host the Third Annual Homeless Conference on August 23, 2025 at the Milpitas Police Community Room. Join us to get an introduction to the challenge of homelessness and see what Hope for the Unhoused and other local community organization is doing about it. The conference is free, but make sure to scan the QR code to get your ticket.

Third Homeless Conference focuses on Impact of Federal Cuts
​On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Hope for the Unhoused hosted its third Homeless Conference. One of the highlights was the overview of the potential Federal cuts and its impact to the unhoused in Santa Clara County. We want to thank the following for their support:

How You can Help

Referral
If you want to help someone who is need with Milpitas city limits, you can let us know, and we will have someone reach out to them.

Donations
We will need your support to do what we do, so anything you can give will help, including in-kind or company matches.

Volunteering
Make a difference by volunteering with us. We have a wide range of opportunities, from street level case management to fundraising. Check out the opportunities and let us know what you are interested in.

"Our street level 'client managers' have successfully helped three dozen folks find a path to permanent housing over the past three years."
"Our initiative with Loaves & Fishes will help MUSD families with food insecurity up to three times a week; Along with the homeless prevention information from Santa Clara County, we hope to minimize homelessness."
