Our Mission
Reduce Homelessness in Milpitas
Founded in 2020, Hope for the Unhoused, a Milpitas-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization, has been working hard with the help of our volunteers and partners to help the unhoused and families in need in Milpitas. Our work is dedicated to:
-
Proving weekly food at our Mobile Service Center on Main St.
-
Providing Outreach to the Unhoused
-
Providing "Street Level Client Management"
-
Educating the community on the challenge of homelessness
-
Implementing a three-prong strategy of prevention, sustaining, and pathways to reduce homelessness
It takes a community to tackle homelessness
Announcements
The 4th Annual Homeless Conference took place in August 2026 at the Milpitas Police Community Room. We learned about the current challenges of homelessness and what Hope for the Unhoused and other local community organizations are doing about it.
Thank you to those who attended the 4th Annual Homeless Conference
